About Woonzorg Unie Veluwe
WUV is helping elderly people in the Dutch Veluwe region to live independent for as long as possible. They offer home-care, daycare, sheltered housing and residential care in the municipalities of Nunspeet, Elburg, Epe and in the village Wapenveld.

History
The WUV foundation is built on Protestant Christian principals. It is the result of a series of mergers in 2007 and 2009. Its predecessors have a long history in providing wellbeing to elderly people in the region.

Name and logo
WUV wants to express the personal touch as well as it's local foundations (Woonzorg means Housing with care) as drive behind a solid organisation (Union). In the end it is all about you (U). That is why the U is so prominent in our logo.
In the Old Testament Noah sends out a pigeon to look for land. With this the pigeon becomes the symbol of future and hope. In the New Testament the pigeon represents Gods Spirit and with that peace and tranquility. The spreaded wings indicate space for new possibilities.
The fresh and natural green symbolises the safety we offer, the blue stands for reliability and drive.
